This question also arises if you want to outsource a business operation from your existing company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview of the main company forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In principle, you can choose between these company forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <a class=\"topic-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consultingcheck.com\/en\/topics\/sole-proprietorship\/6017\/\" title=\"Einzelunternehmen als Gesellschaftsform\">natural person<\/a>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <a class=\"topic-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consultingcheck.com\/en\/topics\/partnership\/6018\/\" title=\"Die Besonderheiten der Personengesellschaft\">sole proprietorship<\/a>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <a class=\"topic-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consultingcheck.com\/en\/topics\/corporation\/6021\/\" title=\"Kapitalgesellschaft als Gesellschaftsform\">partnership<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and the <a class=\"topic-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consultingcheck.com\/en\/topics\/corporation\/6021\/\" title=\"Kapitalgesellschaft als Gesellschaftsform\">corporation<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All four forms have their specific advantages and disadvantages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Criteria for the choice of company form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of company form is usually made for (liability) legal or tax reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But access to capital also plays a role in the choice of company form.
