Needs assessment: Why it’s important

Ideas only become innovations when they are successfully launched on the market, i.e. when they are accepted by your target customers. This acceptance requires knowledge of what exactly your target customers value and what they are willing to pay for. A targeted needs analysis involving your target customers is a necessary prerequisite for obtaining the required insights. Do not start an innovation project without having secured this information.
