Innovations and adaptations to changing conditions are essential for companies to survive. However, both will only be possible if the capabilities for innovation and adaptation are developed. A necessary prerequisite for the development of these capabilities is an appropriate innovation process.
The innovation process is divided into the ongoing generation of ideas, the decision-making process and the implementation phase. All three phases should be constantly active in parallel across all innovation ideas in order to keep the innovation process alive in the long term.
